Who We Are

Tranquility & Transformation Have Their Place

Henry David Thoreau once said, “Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.”
At Christ the King Center, we believe we’ve discovered — and created — a wonderful piece of paradise right here in the rolling hills of upstate New York. There is natural beauty that takes your breath away. There is a pervasive feeling of serenity, Sabbath and solidarity. And there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere with the power to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.
As a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany, New York, we offer people of all ages and denominations retreats and conferences, healing ministry, and youth programs (including an afterschool youth group, outdoor education, snow day care, retreats, and summer camp).
Beyond that, we offer you a place of peace. A garden to grow in. A still point in our turning world.

Welcome home.

Friday's storm left us with some cleanup work. At least 10 trees snapped off or ripped up by the roots. No damage to any buildings. Praise God.
