Running to the Savior for Satisfaction and Hope: A Study of Psalm 63

Jesus is the Bread of Life. He is the very nourishment our souls need at the end of a long day of work or stressful situations.  So often though, my solution has been to run to the comfort of food over the comfort of my God. In Psalm 63, David shows us what it looks like to run to the Lord for hope, comfort, and truth in the darkest of situations. Plagued by his own sin and the sin of his children, running for his life and threatened by enemies, David seeks the Lord in the wilderness just as our Savior Jesus did in the Garden. In this workshop, we'll look at Psalm 63 as a guide to how we can run to our Savior, whether facing temptation, plagued by stress, or suffering through difficulty.  This workshop includes a brief teaching, guided discussion, and small group prayer.
