2021 Womens Retreat Speaker Bios
Abi Byrd is a Bible teacher who teaches as an Instructor for the Charles Simeon Trust and speaks for evangelistic events and retreats. She and her husband Brad have four children and attend McLean Bible Church, Loudoun Campus. They live in the foothills of VA, West of Washington DC. Abi has a B'ED honors degree from Cambridge University, England. She has taught in London and now subs in her local Elementary School, usually in the Autism classroom. She also served as the Director of Children's Ministry at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, Washington DC. She and her family served as missionaries in Kosovo with Radstock Ministries and she currently chairs the US Board.
Nana A. Dolce is the Associate Director of Women’s Workshops for the Charles Simeon Trust. She has the joy of training women Bible teachers across the globe. Nana has a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Palmer Theological Seminary. She teaches extensively in her local church and is a writer for several ministries including: Christianity Today, Risen Motherhood, The Gospel Coalition, Modern Reformation Magazine, and Well-Watered Women. Nana—born in Ghana, West Africa—lives today in Washington, DC with her husband Eric—the Director of Discipleship at The New Macedonia Baptist Church. Together, Eric and Nana have the joy of parenting two homeschooled daughters, Jael and Noel. Nana’s prayer is for the grace to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord (Colossians 1:9-10).
